Mining Pool Shares
mining.pool-shares
Mining pool shares are partial proofs of work found under a pool-defined target that is easier than the network target. They let a pool verify that a miner contributed real hash work, measure each miner's proportional contribution, and split payouts when one submitted share also happens to satisfy the actual network target.
